For promoting qualitative research, publication and managerial trends, DBS is proud to announce its Bi-Annual Journal, “Business Archives”.

Coverage
The Journal will be covering issues of critical importance for management; the topics will be related to the multidisciplinary areas of management, like Accounting & Finance, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Branding, Corporate Governance, Contemporary issues of Indian/Global Economies, Future Management Challenges and Paradigms.

Commitment
Business Archives is committed to create and nurture a scholastic platform to share ideas, develop culture of academic and industrial research and generate meaningful debates. This bi-annual journal will invite the best quality papers to enable quality learning to wide variety of readers.

The journal intends to be a blend of research-oriented papers and those based on management practices.

Guidelines for Submission of Manuscripts
  • Two copies of the papers should be submitted, typed in double space on A4 size bond paper with I-inch margin on all sides.
  • Manuscript should not exceed 5000 words, about 25 A4 size double spaced sheets, including tables, diagrams, illustrations, appendices, graphs, etc. excluding cover page and abstract page. This limit may be exceeded by not more than 10 pages; if it is unavoidable.
  • The document should be in MS Word format along with data files. It should be in "Times New Roman" font and font size 12, with a soft copy in CD-ROM. It can also be e-mailed to the editor at editor@dbs.edu.in.
  • Give abstract, tables, charts, graphs, the list of references on separate sheets. The author should indicate where s/he wants it to be placed in the text.
  • Tables, figures and graphs should be of such size that they can be composed within one page of the journal; with the source (reference) mentioned at the bottom of each table, figure, graph, etc.
  • All pages, after the first page, should be numbered. Avoid writing detailed text in graphs. It should have minimum amount of descriptive text.
  • Manuscripts should. Follow British spellings throughout e.g. behaviour, not behavior, or organisation and not organization.
  • The cover page of the article/research paper should provide the title of the paper, author's name (s), designation, address(es), professional affiliation, an abstract of the paper in about 200 words including few keywords, about 60-75 words of introduction, and acknowledgements, if any.
  • The first page of the article/research paper must provide the title, but not the rest of the details as on the cover page.
  • If there are multiple authors, it should be mentioned on the cover page the author to whom correspondence should be addressed to.
  • Name(s) of author(s) should not appear anywhere in the entire text from second page onwards.
  • Headings should be in 14 points font size, "Times New Roman" font, in bold, all in CAPITAL and underlined. Sub headings should be in 14 points font size "Times New Roman" in bold with the initial letter of the Word to be in Capital; and sub¬-sub headings to be in 12 points font size; 'bold and italicised. One line after the heading, sub heading or sub-sub heading should be left blank.
  • Manuscripts will be sent for blind review. At the end of the blind review, the corresponding author will be informed by the editor about the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript. On acceptance, the modifications suggested by the reviewers, if any, are to be incorporated by the author and again submit a CD and hard copy of the revised manuscript.
  • Detailed references should appear in at the end of manuscript with proper numbering. Only those sources should be included in the list that has actually been referred. Please do not mention your own publications in references; your own ideas can be used again without the fear of plagiarism.
  • The references should be arranged in alphabetical order according to the last name of the author.
  • Books, journals, magazines, articles, theses, web sites, etc. that has actually been referred should be properly mentioned in the list.
  • References should include full details of the name(s) of the author(s), title of the article or book, name of the journal, details of the publishers, year and month of publication, place of publication, individual page numbers, as appropriate.
  • Authors will receive a complimentary copy of the Journal in which their articles are published.
  • The editors reserve the right to modify and/or improve the manuscripts as per the Journal's standard of presentation and style.
  • Contributors should subscribe strictly to the journal format and style requirement.
  • All articles should be duly signed at the end.
  • Author(s) is (are) required to give an undertaking, with the signature of the author(s), that the manuscripts sent for publication in this journal have not been published or sent for publication elsewhere.
  • Authors must ensure that the hard copy and the soft copy should be identical. In case of any difference, ONLY THE HARD COPY CONTAINING SIGNATURE WILL BE CONSIDERED FINAL.
