Q What is the minimum eligibility criteria for Admissions at DBS?
Minimum of 50% in Class XIIth Examination from any Senior Secondary Education Board of India such as CBSE / ICSE / State Board or equivalent in any stream for BBA. For PGP/MBA, graduation in any stream from any recognized University or equivalent.
Students will be provisionally admitted even if the final year / class XII results are awaited so as to avoid any delay in academic session. The admission shall be confirmed subject to passing in the qualifying examination. |

Q What is the importance of Practical training and Industrial Visit?
Practical training and industrial visits are an integral part of the Degree Program at DBS. The College normally organizes workshops during every semester and summer projects/training for most of the students' with effect from the end of 4th semester incase of Undergraduate students and 2nd semester, incase of Postgraduate students. The College also organizes Industry visits. Each student deputed on practical training is required to prepare a project report and present the same, which is evaluated by the faculty members. |

Q What is the cut-off score for the MAT/CAT?
We do not apply a strict cut-off score for MAT/CAT. A good score strengthens your application but does not guarantee admission while a low score does not necessarily mean exclusion. In fact we test over all potential of the student. However a Student with above 500 marks as composite score in MAT/CAT will be exempted from the DBS entrance test and can directly appear for the personal interview. |
Q I have completed a three-year diploma course in travel management but do not have an undergraduate degree. Am I eligible for the DBS?
The eligibility criterion at the DBS requires all students to have an undergraduate degree. If your diploma is considered a degree by the appropriate authorities (and the onus of proving this is with you) then it will be acceptable. |

DBS extends separate residential facilities for boys and girls. The hostel accommodation promotes a quality life style. Q What is the minimum initial amount that the student has to pay to get registered for his/her admission?
Student has to pay Rs.10,350 as registration charges. Out of this amount, Rs 5000 is nonrefundable annual registration amount, Rs 5000 is the refundable security deposit and Rs 350 is the nonrefundable processing fees. |

Q If the student has to withdraw within 15 days or so can he get a refund?
NO. Fees once paid is not refundable under any circumstances irrespective of the number of days or amount. Neither the college authority would refund the student nor may they take a refund from the consultant. Only security is refundable. |
