Delhi Business School, celebrated its convocation ceremony of PGPEB July 2007-09 Batch on Wednesday, August 12th’2009 at Shri Satya Sai International Auditorium,Lodhi Road New Delhi.

The Ceremony started with the procession entered the hall, a Introductory address was rendered. Welcoming the gathering by Dr. Devender Pathak, Director Academics Delhi Business School said, “DBS provides a challenging environment to the student that stimulates there intellects. DBS empowers the students to face the evolving management world with confidence and inculcate in students all the essential skills of management with a revolutionary curriculum to create a prosperous future for them. DBS was established in the year 2001 and successfully created many professionals in the time span of eight years.

The Convocation was declared open by Ms. Divya Rajput Director DBS, Envisioned DBS as an emerging hub of excellence in the world of management professionals at the global level, its custodians foresee DBS as a major source of cutting edge research in management in the coming years and a fountainhead of ideas, concepts and models for future managers and organizations.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Vinay Rai President- ASSOCHAM Education division guided students to become creative professionals with the futuristic outlook to meet the management needs of the society and motivated all the students to become Entrepreneurs who are job providers and not job seekers. He further added there are thousands of job opportunities waiting for the talented students in the market.

Ms. Renu Kishore Vice President , Jain T.V Board shared her valuable thoughts that, The business environments are constantly subjected to change. The success of any business at present and in the future is determined by the ability of its management to cope with this changing situation. She further added that Corporate life cycle provides practical answers and real life situations to make a person competent enough to form such strategies which makes a business successful.

Hon’ble chief guest awarded Post Graduate Program in Entrepreneurship and Business (PGPEB) and professional diplomas in various fields of management to One hundred and seventeen students. The Overall toppers are as follows

The Chief Guest, Mr. Atul Chaturvedi, gave a very inspiring Convocation address about the young generation as, “you are a risk-taker, and you follow your passions. You are determined to take on the world and succeed on your own terms. Whether in the arts, science, engineering, business, or politics, you fearlessly express your own vision of the world. You are not afraid of a fight, and you are not afraid to bet your future on your own abilities. If you find a job boring or stifling, you're already preparing your resume. You believe in doing what you love, and you are not willing to settle for an ordinary life.”

Closing the Ceremony, DBS students came together by singing the song “Heal The World” lighting candles.
