Our Vision
The Finance Club aims to create an environment for continuous learning among its members by keeping abreast of thee current trends and developments in the financial world. The emphasis is on equipping students with requisite skills needed to become successful finance professionals.

The club will provide a common platform where students can discuss about developments in the financial world and promote their intellectual growth through a series of lecturers, workshops, and talks delivered by faculty and industry professionals.

Our Mission
• To become a centre of learning in the field of finance that creates successful finance professionals.
• Assist the DBS students to prepare for career in finance through career development programmes and skill building workshops
• Provide a forum for networking and communication among the DBS alumni, the industry and current members of the Finance club
• Foster an environment among students that encourages continuous learning and discovery of recent trends and developments in the field finance.

Activities Roadmap
Create a hub of knowledge, a platform for interactive learning and a facilitator for career progress by connecting students, industry, alumni and academia. The active focus groups of the Finance Club will work in the areas of:-
• INVESTMENT BANKING
• CORPORATE FINANCE
• BANKING( CORPORATE,RETAIL &PRIVATE)
• EQUITY RESEARCH,SALES & TRADING

THROUGH:-
Case studies, Workshop, Role-play, Financial games, Quiz, Live projects, Screening of movies related to finance & Business, In-house presentations Competitions, Students visits to different Nationalized Banks, Stock Exchanges, RBI Clearing house, Financial institutions, Conducting Seminars, Inviting Guest Speakers like CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s and other eminent personalities, Attending to other responsorial financial workshops at other management institutes, attending meetings of ASSOCHAM, FICCI & CII, Discussions on Union Financial &
Railway Budgets, Quarterly Trend & Progress analysis of economic policies of SEBI, RBI & Ministries of Finance, Inter-club debates & last not the least performing and organizing Cultural & Entertainment activities at our DBS campus.
Helps in:- Developing interpersonal relationship, mutual understanding, exposure to personal traits & qualities of Club Members

Eligibility for Membership
Membership is open for all the students of DBS irrespective of their specializations,
Teaching & Non-Teaching staff of DBS, and others from outside, wants to excel their knowledge in the field of finance, banking, stock market and the economic world
